Technical Information

Server Logs

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may temporarily store basic server logs including IP addresses, request URLs, and timestamps for security and performance purposes. These logs are automatically deleted after a short period and are not accessible to us.

Static Site Architecture

WorldTradeFlows is built as a static website. All trade data is pre-processed and served as static files. There is no database, no server-side processing of user requests, and no opportunity to collect personal data.

Third-Party Services

We use no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external connection is downloading trade data files directly to your browser.

Data Downloads

When you download trade data in CSV, JSON, or Excel formats, these files are generated in your browser and downloaded directly. We don't track what data you download or how you use it.

Contact and Feedback

If you contact us via email at info@worldtradeflows.com, we will only use your email address to respond to your inquiry. We don't add email addresses to mailing lists or use them for any other purpose.

We delete email correspondence after responding unless it contains ongoing technical discussions about the platform.

Why We Don't Track Users

• No business model: We don't monetize user data because we have no revenue model
• Technical simplicity: Static sites are faster and more reliable without tracking
• User privacy: Trade research should be private and anonymous
• Legal simplicity: No data collection means no GDPR, CCPA, or other compliance issues

WorldTradeFlows is accessible worldwide. Since we don't collect personal data, there are no cross-border data transfer issues. All trade data comes from public sources and is freely accessible globally.
