Kenya exported $7.96 billion of merchandise goods in 2023, making it the world's #112 largest exporter. Goods flowed to 187 destinations, with the top ten markets absorbing 62.2% of total export value. The leading export was (fermented) and partly fermented tea, in immediate packings of a content exceeding 3kg, valued at $1.30 billion — 16.3% of the country's export portfolio.
