Mauritius imported $6.77 billion of merchandise goods in 2023, making it the world's #131 largest importer. Goods came from 182 source countries, with the top ten sources providing 64.9% of total import value. The leading import was preparations n.e.c. containing by weight 70% or more of petroleum oils or oils from bituminous minerals, valued at $1.42 billion — 20.9% of total imports.
