Egypt exported $51.14 billion of merchandise goods in 2023, making it the world's #58 largest exporter. Goods flowed to 185 destinations, with the top ten markets absorbing 51.3% of total export value. The leading export was preparations n.e.c. containing by weight 70% or more of petroleum oils or oils from bituminous minerals, valued at $4.22 billion — 8.2% of the country's export portfolio.
